How billing works

The sandbox
Every business starts in a sandbox. It is free, it is never shown to the public, and it takes no real payments. A sandbox with no activity for 7 days is deleted, after a warning.
Going live
When you subscribe to a plan, your business goes live: it can appear in the BrightGrid directory and take real payments.
Monthly or annual
Monthly plans renew each month and annual plans renew each year.
Payments from your customers
Your customers pay you online through Stripe, into your own Stripe account. Each payment costs Stripe's standard processing fee, plus a 2.5% BrightGrid fee. Stripe's fee is set by Stripe and depends on how the customer pays; it is shown in your Stripe Dashboard.
